The PI3HDMI412 high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) switch supports the transmission of digital television audio/visual signals from DVD players, set-top boxes, and additional sources to television sets, projectors, and other video displays. Described as a quad differential channel, 2:1 mux/de-mux DVI/HDMI signal switch, the device delivers a maximum data rate of 1.65 Gb/s and provides a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, the level required by next generation HDTV and PC graphics applications.
