Claimed as the smallest around, the NCP5602 and NCP5612 charge pump white LED drivers measure 2 mm x 2mm x 0.55 mm in lead-free LLGA-12 packages. Both feature programmable dimming and achieve a peak efficiency of 87%. They integrate an ICON function that drives a low current through one of the two LEDs, allowing the display to be seen in dark environments and eliminating the need for additional programming. The NCP5612 supports a single-wire serial link, while the NCP5602 handles I2C. Other shared features include 0.2% current matching across two LEDs and short-circuit and over-voltage protection.
