In its size class, 6 mm x 6 mm x 4.5 mm, the NR6045T series wire-wound power inductors handle up to 3A at a value of 10 µH, reportedly the highest level for inductors that size. Groomed for dc/dc converter choke coil applications in LCD and plasma TVs plus other flat panel displays, 14 models in the series offer a range of dc-resistance values ranging from 14 to 500 milliOhms, inductances from 1 µH to 100 µH, and current ratings from 0.8A to 8.5A. The NR6045T-100M reportedly specifies the industry’s highest current of 3A at 10 µH in its 6mm x 6mm form factor. Sample price is $0.30 each.
