The MAX3701 2X blue laser driver with integrated sample and hold provides a programmable, five-level output and up to 200 mA of output current, allowing it to achieve a 0.9 ns edge speed with an 8% overshoot. It also integrates a programmable RF frequency and amplitude control with a range of 200 MHz to 600 MHz and 15 to 150 mAp-p. Additionally, the device does not require any active external components to manage the voltage drop across the laser.
