Addressing ac product development and manufacturing requirements for worldwide ac waveform simulation, TrueWave (TW) Series ac power sources offer power ratings of 1750 VA, 3500 VA or 5250 VA. Clean dc and ac sinewave output is coupled with a user-friendly front panel, along with an accurate, fast DSP measurement system for testing a wide variety of equipment. Offered in a compact 5U rack-mount configuration, TW power sources are well-suited for testing equipment for compliance with European standards for harmonics and flicker, including EN61000-3-2 and EN61000-3-3. The synthesized output meets EN61000-3-2/-3 ac source requirements. Other applications include testing for: real-world dc single or polyphase ac power conditions; ATE; ac and dc avionics; power supplies for ac-to-dc, dc-to-dc and UPSs; ac ballast; and more.
