Now available, DxO IPE debuts as the industry's first embedded silicon IP for camera phones with integral enhanced depth of field (EDOF) and optical fault correction (OFC). The three devices, the DxO IPE, DxO ISP, and DxO DOP, employ the company's latest programmable and configurable SIMD RTL core, which is optimized for on-the-fly image processing. In addition to EDOF, the devices also include anti-aliasing demosaicing, sensor and pixel level noise compensation, and DSC-class auto exposure and auto white balance. The DxO ISP family provides DSC-class image processing without the digital optics implementation while the DxO DOP family provides digital optics processing without the image processing functions. All three employ the company's proprietary, configurable, and programmable SIMD processor core. They are available in several configurations to support resolutions from 1.3 to 12 Mpixels.
