Claimed as the fastest around, the IL700-S series digital isolators sport specifications of up to 150-Mb/s typical data rate and pulse-width distortion of 300 ps. The IL710S-1 single-channel and IL711S-1 and IL712S-1 dual-channel couplers are available in 8-pin, 3 mm x 3 mm MSOPs. The isolators operate with supply voltages from 3V to 5.5V and over a temperature range from -40°C to +100°C with no derating. Typical transient immunity is 30 kV/µs. Additionally, the devices are available in PDIP and SOIC packages and in RoHS-compliant versions. Prices for single- and dual-channel devices are $2.50 and $4.05 each/1,000, respectively.
