Specifying a typical on resistance of 3.6 Ohms (4.2 Ohms maximum) with a flatness 0.4 Ohm, the DG469 and DG470 single- and dual-supply SPDT analog switches are identical except the DG470 provides an enable pin. The pin puts the switches in a high-impedance state, maintaining a safe state at power up and preventing accidental signal or power shorts. Optimized for audio and video signal switching, sample and hold systems, relay replacement, and power routing, the enable pin disconnects both inputs and outputs until activation of the pin. Both devices handle up to 120 mA of continuous current and specify a 44V maximum supply voltage rating and an isolation of 57 dB at 1 MHz. Other shared features include a power dissipation of 66 mW, typical switching speeds of 129-ns turn on and 80-ns turn off, and digital inputs with 0.8V and 2.4V logic thresholds. Available in MSOP-8 and SOIC-8 packages, price for either device is $0.70 each/1,000. VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY INC., Malvern, PA. (408) 567-8347.
