Designed to reduce the time, cost and risks involved in developing Internet-enabled DSP applications, the bf3Net TCP/IP protocol stack is reported as the industry's first eXpressDSP compliant, TCP/IP protocol stack supporting TMS320 DSP processors. The software integrates with Code Composer Studio IDE and provides support for TMS320C2000/5000/6000 DSPs. It also supports all standard protocols, including HTTP, SMTP, POP3, FTP, DNS and DHCP. To ease development, bf3Net starter kits are available containing the TCP/IP protocol stack, a 100-BaseTx Ethernet daughter card, and a Texas Instruments DSP starter kit. A project license of bf3Net, including a distribution license for up to 2,500 production units, costs $6,000. Price of multiple project development licenses starts at $12,000. The starter kit costs $2,495. TRAQUAIR DATA SYSTEMS INC., Ithaca, NY. (607) 266-6000.
