Mango DSP's Raven X2 PC-104+ intelligent video server has been integrated with Cisco Technology's 3200 wireless video router to create a flexible system for evolving market needs.

The Raven X2 PC-104+ from Mango DSP is an intelligent video server designed for outdoor and mobile surveillance applications. The server meets the requirements for interoperability under the Cisco Technology Developer Program and has been integrated into Cisco's 3200 wireless video router for creation of video surveillance solutions to meet evolving markets, such as police cars and unmanned devices. The combination comprises a high-performance router in a rugged form factor that supports cellular modems and future wireless technologies, such as 1xEVDO, 4.9 GHz, and WiMAX.

The Mango IVS software employs video analytic software from leading content-analysis providers, allowing it to detect and classify items according to pre-defined rules. The backend server architecture provides a user-friendly, graphic-based management tool that enables fast and easy control over rules and alerts. The video server allows connectivity of up to two analog cameras and one analog video output. It supports MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MJPEG, and H264 codecs. Applications for the integrated Raven X2 PC-104+ and Cisco 3200 series router include license plate recognition, motion detection, intelligent IP video, facial recognition, digital video recording, video conferencing, video sharing per incident, universal camera support, and an efficient interface for data and voice integration to security applications.
