Providing open-drain outputs with active LOW functions, the CAT803 and CAT808 are offered as viable replacements for MAX803 and S-808 devices, respectively. The CAT803 voltage supervisor has a reset timeout with a 140-ms reset period, while the CAT808 voltage detector does not include reset timeout. The CAT803 is available in standard threshold levels ranging from 2.32V to 4.63V, and the CAT808 is available in 2.7V and 3.2V threshold levels. In terms of package options, the CAT803 is available in 3-lead SC70 and SOT23 packages, while the CAT808 comes in a 5-lead TSOT23 and a 3-lead SOT89. Price for either device is $0.20 each/10,000.
