Said to deliver more power than most brush-dc (BDC) motors of similar size, the Series 6000 BDC motors measure 22-mm in diameter and incorporate a skewed, five-slot armature design and bonded neodymium iron boron magnets. The longest version in the series, measuring 1.901" in length, delivers up to 2 oz.-in. of continuous torque. Depending on the model, the motors can generate maximum peak torques up to 10.2 oz.-in. and nominal no-load speeds up to 8,720 rpm. Other features include sintered bronze bearings, two-pole stators, heavy-gauge steel housings, silicon steel laminations, and copper graphite brushes. Options include ball bearings, EMI/RFI filter networks, and lead-wire or terminal-connection configurations. PENNENGINEERING MOTION TECHNOLOGIES, Harleysville, PA. (877) 748-8626.
