Targeting high-current switching in automotive applications, the companyÕs 1 Form C/1Form A relay is capable of switching 20A/42 Vdc at locked motor load for 100,000 operations minimum or 10A at locked motor load for 200,000 operations. The relay measures 22.5 mm x 15 mm x 25 mm, allowing it to be plugged into existing relay boxes. A unique feature of the component is an optimized contact-circuit structure said to improve current-break capability at both make and break contacts. This structure allows for wide contact gaps, a power consumption of 2.38W, and the elimination of magnetic parts for the erasure of arc discharge. Voltage range is from 27 to 50 Vdc and operating temperature is from -40ûC to +125ûC. Price is $2.70 each/10,000. FUJITSU COMPONENTS AMERICA INC., Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 380-0059.
