Dual-Input Clamp Meters Boast IR Thermometer

Oct. 8, 2008
The four members of the 600 Series dual-input clamp meters feature an IR thermometer and non-contact voltmeter. The EX612, EX613, EX622, and EX623 include built-in dual-thermocouple inputs for T1, T2, and T1-T2 differential temperature measurements.

The four members of the 600 Series dual-input clamp meters feature an IR thermometer and non-contact voltmeter. The EX612, EX613, EX622, and EX623 include built-in dual-thermocouple inputs for T1, T2, and T1-T2 differential temperature measurements. True rms capability provides maximum accuracy for ac voltage and current measurements. The meters’ dc microammeter function permits HVAC flame-rod current measurements. The units also have data hold and peak hold capability for current surges during startup. For high resolution over wider ranges, the 600 Series provides 40,000-count multimeter functions for dc voltage, resistance, capacitance, and frequency. The meters can measure motor capacitors to 40,000 µF and feature a 1.4” jaw opening for conductors up to 500MCM. EXTECH INSTRUMENTS, Waltham, MA. (781) 890-7440.
