FHP Motors Immune To Effects Of Inverters

The Pacesetter fractional horsepower (FHP) ac motors are claimed to be designed for long life in inverter applications. Employing a five-stage insulation system, the motors are said to be virtually immune to harmful effects that can be induced by some inverter applications. Five models within the series are available in frame sizes of 34, 42 and 48 and power ranges from 1/8 to 3/4 HP. Both synchronous and non-synchronous versions are available in 230V and 230/460V, three-phase ratings. Designed for operation up to 140 Hz, the motors are precision balanced for speeds up to 3,650 rpm. The motors also feature fan cooling and finned aluminum center rings.
