The multi-axis Linear Motor Positioning Systems are claimed to provide smooth, low-friction linear motion. Available for iron-less and iron-core motors in single- or multi-axis configurations, the systems provide maximum velocities of up to 3 m/s and accelerations of up to 6 g/s. And an autoflex preload feature automatically adjusts bearing preload for optimum system performance during thermal expansion and high acceleration. Other features include lightweight, high-strength aluminum construction, integral linear encoders, rugged bearing design, and an integral cable track.
