Offered as the fruit of the company's patented direct-drive motor technology, the CARTRIDGE DDR direct-drive rotary servomotors are said to combine the performance advantages of frameless direct-drive motors with the ease of installation of a full-frame motor. Meeting CE and UL approval, the motors employ pre-engineered components, a factory-aligned feedback device, and a bearing-less design that allows mount-and-run operation in under 30 minutes. The motors are available in two frame sizes with three stack lengths per frame with voltage ratings of 230V, 400V, and 480V. They provide continuous torques from 50 to 510 N-m, peak torques up to 1,100 N-m, and speeds to 1,200 rpm. Other reported advantages include maintenance-free operation and up to a 20 dB reduction in noise and an accuracy boost up to 50x when compared to similar motors. DANAHER MOTION, Wood Dale, IL.
