Well-suited for applications requiring precise positioning and rapid motion, such as in medical equipment and X-Y tables, the Size 11 captive linear actuator is available in resolutions ranging from 0.000125" to 0.002" per step and delivers thrusts of up to 25 lb. The motor has an integral anti-rotation mechanism and is especially well-suited for use where external anti-rotational methods are difficult or impossible to employ. Built for long life (several million cycles), high-performance and quiet operation, the motor employs thermoplastics in the rotor drive nut and a stainless steel Acme lead screw.
