Greatly reducing motor heating and audible noise, the CN0165 small high-power, high-resolution, microstep drive is for permanent magnet hybrid step motors rated from 0.25A to 10A per phase at 18 to 80 vdc and speeds up to 15,000 rpm. The unit's switching topology combines the advantages of recirculating and non-recirculating switching in each clock cycle to permit high-voltage operation with low heating at low to moderate speeds.
