A cooling capacity of 200 BTU/hour is provided by the AHP-300XE, a Peltier cooler that can withstand harsh outdoor environments containing corrosive substances, windblown dust, water and other particulates in accordance with NEMA-4X specifications. The maintenance-free unit contains no filters, compressor, piping or fluorocarbons. The 7.5-lb. unit runs from 12/24/48 vdc input and is mounted in stud-and-gasket fashion to maintain NEMA integrity of enclosures. It's suited for use in industrial locations such as steel and paper mills, chemical and oil refineries, or on ships. Typical uses include machine controls, PLCs, drives, motor controls, computers, and more. Prices are less than $600 each in OEM lots.
