Designed to control speed, the N series includes single-pole, single-throw switches suitable for use in professional power tools. These include drills, drivers, hammer drills, shears, and nibblers. Basic features of the switches include current and voltage ratings of 10A at 125 Vac or 6A at 250 Vac and an operating life span up to 200,000 cycles. Line voltage wires can be terminated by screw or push-in methods, while motor and capacitor connections are push-in. Users have a choice of six switching configurations: N0 for on/off control; N1 for two-speed control with a bypass contact; N2 for half-wave speed control with bypass contact; N3 for full-wave speed control without a bypass contact; N41 is a line-voltage potentiometer; and N42 is a low-voltage potentiometer.
