Compact in size, the company's newest CE, UL and CUL-certified Vector Control Variable Frequency Drives (VF-CE) are controllable with an analog reference signal, digital pulse or digital input control. These ac drives are available in single-phase and three-phase input voltage types, providing a power range of 1/3 to 5 horsepower. The drives have network capabilities via Profibus, RS-232/485 interfaces, and remote panel accessories.Their operator panels feature built-in memory for parameter storage and multiple drive download. Combining the VF-CE with the company's ultra-compact PLC and any commercially available ac motor produces a simple and cost-effective motion system . The software provides easy-to-use programming with automatic tuning, frequency monitoring, and parameter configuration capabilities. Pricing for a 1/3 horsepower drive without accessories is less than $200.
