Said to be economical, the Model 685A07 mechanical-vibration switch provides continuous vibration monitoring. The component comes standard with an external pushbutton reset and does not require power for operation. It uses a spring-loaded, magnetically-coupled sensor that can be externally adjusted for higher or lower sensitivity. Target apps include cooling towers, fans, small motors or pumps, or any installation that requires immediate shutdown when vibration levels escalate.
