Designed around Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor and Q35 chipset, the PL-10570 1U rack-mount network appliance debuts as a cost-effective, entry-level networking solution. The unit supports UTM network management, load balancing, WAN acceleration, and VoIP gateway applications. It features six PCIe x1 GbE copper 82573L LANs and the option of one of two expansion modules. One module has four GbE copper LANs using two 82571EB PCIe chips while the other module has two GbE copper LANs and two SFP GbE LANs using two 82571EB PCIe chips.
