Accelerating time to market for digital broadcast applications, the company's latest TVoM HotPlug system, said to be a first of its kind in the industry, packs everything necessary to implement TVoM functionality in mobile systems. This includes hardware, complete DVB-H and DVB-T software stacks, and security. The system delivers a comprehensive standalone TVoM system and enables quick introduction of TV services by combining tuning, audio and video decoding, support for any DRM standard, and support for both DVB-H and DVB-T. It is based on the BGT215 front-end and the PNX4105 mobile multimedia processor. The BGT215 provides a TV tuner and channel decoder/demodulator, while the PNX4105 provides the source processing, frame doubling, and picture in picture. NXP SEMICONDUCTORS, USA. (800) 447-1500.
