For machine-vision applications, the PXI-8252 IEEE 1394 host adapter provides PXI and CompactPCI connectivity for a wide range of industrial cameras. The module features three IEEE 1394 ports, delivers up to 12W of power, and supports data rates up to 400 Mb/s. Teaming with NI-IMAQ driver software, it provides a user interface for a variety of software platforms, including LabVIEW, Visual Basic, and C/C++.
