Expanding the SeaDAC family of USB data-acquisition devices, the SeaDAC PLC-16H digital I/O module combines high-current Form C relay outputs and optically isolated inputs. It includes eight SPDT high-current Form C relays that can directly switch up to 6A loads at 250 Vac and 100 Vdc. Additionally, eight non-polarized inputs can monitor 5 to 30 Vdc while providing optical isolation. For connecting I/O, removable terminal blocks are standard. Application programs or third party software can interface with the company's SeaMAX library or the industry standard Modbus protocol. The SeaDAC PLC-16H, part number 8232, is priced from $299 in small volume quantities. SEALEVEL SYSTEMS INC., Liberty, SC. (864) 843-4343.
