Announced as the industry’s fastest flash-memory file platform for Linux, the company's system combines its Reliance high-integrity file system and FlashFX Pro intelligent flash media manager. The pairing reportedly delivers up to 2000% faster write performance and five-times faster mount speeds when compared to legacy flash-file systems such as JFFS2 and YAFFS2. In addition to the performance advantage over alternatives, the flash-file system platform for Linux also includes out-of-the-box support for over 200 flash products from mainstream memory makers. Also on tap is a Windows driver that makes the platform fully compatible with Windows PCs. The Linux version is available now and other versions include Windows CE, VxWorks, and NucleusPLUS.
