Originally introduced to accommodate the industry's first embedded programmable logic, the Millennium PLC software has been expanded (Release 1.1) to include added functionality and improved ease of use for designers using the MSA 2500 programmable logic core (PLC). Additions to the suite of tools includes applications for RTL checking and synthesis and IP libraries for mapping functions into the MSA 2500 PLC. In general, the software is comprised of tools said to enable RTL designs to be optimized for PLC implementations integrated within system-on-chip designs.
