Embarking as the latest member of the Relio line of industrial computers, the R1300 enlists the muscle of a low-power, 500-MHz AMD Geode LX800 processor and sports a compact footprint. Mountable on walls, under counters, on tabletops, or to DIN rails with optional brackets, the unit performs without a fan in temperatures from 0°C to 50°C. For maximum reliability, users can opt for a solid-state topology by operating the computer from compact flash memory. Operating-system support includes Windows XP Embedded and Linux. Standard I/O features include two 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports, four USB 2.0 ports, 8-bit GPIO, a parallel port, and four serial ports. The Relio R1300 has a base price of $679.
