Promoting fast and easy configuration of automatic test equipment (ATE), data acquisition, and production test systems, the PXI Starter II pairs the PXI-3800 3U PXI controller with the PXIS-2506 3U six-slot chassis. The PXI-3800 controller complies with PXI specifications Rev. 2.1 and supports a 1.8 GHz Pentium M CPU, hot swappable compact flash card, USB 2.0 ports, and Gigabit Ethernet. Operating-system compatibility includes Windows 2000/XP and Linux. The PXIS-2506 chassis provides one system slot plus five peripherals slots and is compliant with PXI specifications 2.0. Its 10-MHz reference clock is available on all five PXI slots as well as to the star trigger, PXI trigger bus, and PXI local bus.
