Universal Programmer Tests Logic Chips

The testing of logic and memory chips is accomplished when using the Model 845 Universal Device Programmer with logic/memory test function, which also programs both standard and low-voltage devices. The instrument features a built-in power supply operating from either 115 vac or 230 vac at 50/60 Hz, making the unit international as well as universal in its ability to program EPROMs, flash, PROMs, PLDs, and microcontrollers.Packaged in a compact 9.75" x 7.5" x 2.25" benchtop enclosure, the programmer uses a parallel interface and can be used with both desktop or laptop PCs. Other features include a library supporting more than 2800 devices and the capacity to add an emulator module and eight-gang programming adapter.
