Touted as the first of their kind in the industrial/medical marketplace, a new wireless monitor and display system has been designed to enhance multimedia applications typically limited by complex, mandatory cabling. This wireless system is suited for manufacturers of industrial process control and automation, medical, signage, financial, retail and kiosk applications, as the wireless capability will be embedded directly into the monitor. The wireless monitor and display system will utilize industry standard 802.11a protocols and will interface with any remote computer up to 100’ away with connections provided through Advanced Encryption Standard, a standard for secure transmission of audio and streaming video data. As part of the wireless technology, video compression and protocol technology will support the transmission of 24-bit color up to 30 frames per second. The product uses wireless technology developed by Avocent Corp. THREE-FIVE SYSTEMS INC., Tempe, AZ. (508) 485-3380.
