The C20F filtered ac inlet reduces EMI for power requirements up to 20A at 125 vac (UL/1283 and CSA) and 16A at 250 vac (VDE IEC 320-1, C20). The unit is designed to replace standalone block filters that require wiring between the connector and

The C20F filtered ac inlet reduces EMI for power requirements up to 20A at 125 vac (UL/1283 and CSA) and 16A at 250 vac (VDE IEC 320-1, C20). The unit is designed to replace standalone block filters that require wiring between the connector and filter. Often, wiring of this kind acts like antennas producing magnetic energy. The compact size of the C20F saves space compared to discrete parts, and allows more flexible placement of radiating elements. The metal filter casing wraps behind the mounting flange and is secured with screws, and the direct electrical contact of the filter to the chassis provides a good, low RF impedance ground path. Convenient 0.250" solder/quick connect terminals are provided.
