The European consortium IMEC has unveiled a suite of tools and methods that promise optimize the mapping of applications on embedded multiprocessor system-on-chip (MPSoC) platforms.

The company has unveiled a suite of tools and methods that promise to optimize the mapping of applications on embedded multiprocessor system-on-chip (MPSoC) platforms. According to the European consortium IMEC, these tools will result in systems that are more energy efficient and are faster to design. The MPSoC tools target companies that design multi-core platforms for future nomadic and multimedia applications and are offered under a technology transfer or license agreement.
