Compared to standard cable tracks, the self-supported Trackless Cable Assemblies are said to reduce particulation, vibration, size, and weight concerns by eliminating them altogether. Designed for hostile environments, the cables operate in a controlled motion without a cable track or energy chain for stroke lengths up to 1.5m and accelerations up to 40 m/s². They are available as complete assemblies that include terminations and mounting clamps for drop-in installation.
