The Universal Power Alert (UPA-100) detects and indicates the presence of AC and DC (stored energy) voltage, with this safety device aiming to eliminate the guesswork in determining the presence of power in panels. With the UPA-100, manufactures can accomplish compliance to OSHA requirements regarding "Verification of Isolation" (ref: OSHA 1910.147 (d)(6). Features of the tester include: verification of zero energy, detection of single- or 3-phase AC voltage (40 to 750 Vac), and detection of DC or stored energy (30 to 1,000 Vdc). The UL-pending UPA-100 has an epoxy encapsulated NEMA 4 enclosure and uses flashing LEDs to indicate the presence of voltage. AUTOMATIC TIMING AND CONTROLS, Leesburg, FL. (800) 874-0619.
