This family of pluggable terminal blocks and headers is said to offer significant design, performance, cost and delivery advantages over many competitive devices. The ELX 3.5-mm high-density pluggable system also includes fixed blocks and is well suited for applications such as industrial automation, telecommunications, datacommunications, HVAC, and security products. ELX plugs and headers come in two through 20 positions in a broad variety of configurations, with the plugs intermateable and interchangeable with competitive 3.5-mm pluggables. The ELXM 3.5-mm fixed blocks come in two through 10 positions in horizontal, vertical and angled configurations. Other features of the pluggable blocks include side-by-side stackability of plugs in a header without losing a contact position and use of ultra-hightemperature glass-filled polyamide header and plug materials for greater dimensional stability.
