An added feature for the Quickon-One connector, color coded connections intend to ease and accelerate sensor-wire termination in the field. Four colors—brown, blue, black, and white—are marked on the connector to correspond with the color codes on sensor leads. The Quickon-One is a two-piece, screw-less connection system that employs industrial-grade IDC contacts. These contacts promise a gas-tight connection and eliminate the potential for lost screws or stray copper strands during the assembly process. Other features include a 30-second assembly time, IP 65/67 rating, and a wire-size range from #26 to #18 AWG. For further details and price, call PHOENIX CONTACT INC., Harrisburg, PA.
