Two types of connectors are now available for the new TransFlash memory card format. The connectors are available in hinged and push-push versions with metal shielding. Both are 8-circuit, 0.5A SMT designs with gold-plated contacts and solder tabs for PCB retention and additional grounding. The push-push version handles up to 100V with a lifespan of 5,000 cycles. and the hinged connector specifies 10V and a durability of 1,000 cycles. When paired with adapters, the TransFlash connectors are fully compatible with SD and miniSD systems. Volume pricing for the hinged and push-push components are $4.40 and $6.80 each, respectively.
