Claiming to provide two tools in one, the MINILITE-STRIP optical-fiber stripper is designed with two v-notch apertures. The handtool can remove the outer jacket insulation and also remove the buffer and coating from 125 µm and 140 µm fiber. A unique blade-grind design is said to make optical-fiber cable preparation fast and easy.
Other features of the MINILITE-STRIP include cushion-grip, fluorescent-orange handle grips for operator comfort and easy location in the field or in a tool pouch. Constructed of steel, the tool is lightweight, compact and requires no field adjustment.
