The AMP Power Series 50 connectors are designed to defeat the UL finger probe as defined in UL 60950 and are suitable for use in applications such as power supplies, uninterruptable power sources, and battery chargers. The connectors are rated for 50A and 600 Vac/Vdc and accept wire sizes from 6 through 12 AWG with insulation diameters up to 0.44". Life span is specified as up to 10,000 mating cycles. Contacts are copper alloy with silver plating, and the housings come in brown or white UL 94-V0 polycarbonate with other colors available.
