Accommodating keystone modules for UTP, ScTP, fiber and coax, Ultra High Density (UHD) multimedia rack-mount, cross-connect system offers adapters for enhanced category 5, S-Video, ST (fiber), and BNC (10Base-2) applications. The system also supports the firm’s premise Wiring’s NEXTSPEED 670 system, which is designed to meet the proposed category 6 component transmission performance. All adapters fit flush to the panel, and the UHD panel has enhanced front and rear labeling and a front patch cord organizer, a rear cable management tray, and a rear jack holder to provide a foundation for jacks during termination. Five locations are provided for labels, with each label field location designed to accept labels from popular label making devices. The label fields are located to maximize visibility and access. Because cable managers are integral to the panel, no additional rack space is required, optimizing rack space and lowering installed cost. The UHD is available with 16, 32 or 48 port sizes in shielded and unshielded formats.
