Screw-Less Terminal Blocks Accelerate Interfacing

July 2, 2007
The CSTBV series PCB terminal blocks employ a push-button actuator to speed wire connections and release without the need for fixing screws. The series is available in six standard pitches: 5 mm, 5.08 mm, 7.5 mm, 7.62 mm, 10 mm, and 10.16 mm.

Specifications include support for cable sizes up to 16 AGW, ratings of 10A/250V or 10A/750V, a dielectric strength of 2.5 kV/60s or better, an insulation resistance of 5 MΩ, and a working temperature range from 20°C to +125°C (160°C for short periods). The components come in light-gray, flame-retardant PA 66 pre-assembled with the push-button spring actuator mechanism and PCB pins. The CSTBV terminals are available with any number of poles up to a maximum 36, 24, or 18 poles depending upon the required pitch size. OKW ENCLOSURES INC., Bridgeville, PA. (800) 965-9872.
