Deemed a smaller, more economical option for PCB designers, the DWDG84V8 series terminal blocks provide a wire-guard feature for termination. The blocks are available in 2- or 3-pole configurations with an overall height of 8 mm. Modular in design, they support configurations from two to 24 poles and specify a pole spacing of 3.5 mm with an operating voltage of 300V at 10A. The wire-guard openings accept a solid or stranded wire range from 18 to 24 AWG with the guard feature configuring to the conductor as the clamping screw is tightened. Mounting pins are tin-plated brass and the housing material is PA 6.6 (UL94 V-O) polyamide. Standard colors include black, green, and blue. Pricing is $0.14 per pole in quantities of 500 blocks.
