A family of thermoplastic compounds said to improve the performance of electronic devices for Bluetooth protocols feature modified electrical and dielectric properties that enhance signal transmission and reception. These compounds address the three primary phenomena associated with electromagnetic signals: absorption, reflection and transmission. Compounds can be designed with high- or low-absorption properties, they can provide over 100 dB of reflective shielding, and can offer high- or low-dissipation factors over a wide range of dielectric constants from 2.1 to 12.
