The IDK 1.5N/ZB hybrid dual-level terminal block provides two separate channels that employ two distinct termination technologies in one compact footprint. This design promises a reduction in production labor via the IDC termination while offering users the familiar screw-clamp connection for field terminations. The externally tensioned IDC termination technology and yellow wire guide provide visual indication of a correctly terminated conductor. As wire stripping and crimping is unnecessary, the component predicts wiring-time reductions in the realm of 76%. The component accommodates wire sizes from 24 to 16 AWG for the IDC termination and 26 to 12 AWG for the screw clamp termination. Measuring 5.1 mm x 95.3 mm x 52.8 mm, it is UL-rated for 10A at 600V.
