The universal MATE-N-LOK connector line now includes components for sealed bulkhead applications using 20 to 14 AWG wire. The new connectors mate with existing MATE-N-LOK connectors and employ standard contacts and seals. They are available in 4-, 6-, 9-, and 12-contact versions and each provides three levels of sealing protection: wire entry seals, an interfacial seal, and a bulkhead seal. These configurations ensure environmental protection to IP56 requirements. The four-contact version handles up to 15A per contact when using 14 AWG wire while the twelve-position version handles up to 11A. Pricing for a 6-position connector with sealing O-ring and lock nut is $1.28 each/5,000. TYCO ELECTRONICS, Harrisburg, PA. (800) 522-6752.
