Addressing demands for high-performance DIN rail power supplies, the first model in the company’s slim, DIN-rail series, the SDR-240 features active PFC and delivers up to 240W of continuous power, or 360W for three seconds, in temperatures up to +60? with just free-air convection cooling. Notably, the component operates with an efficiency figure in excess of 93.5%. The SDR-240, a full-input-range switcher, meets the requirements of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current and sports a trim design measuring 63.5 mm in width, making it 42.8% smaller than its predecessor model. Other standard features include a DC OK relay contact, an on-panel LED indicator, and short-circuit, overload, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection. Meeting requirements for marine and semiconductor applications, the supply also complies with GL and SEMI F47 and carries UL, CUL, TUV, and CE certificates.
