Control Panel Outlets Take Ride On Rail

June 1, 2001

The new MSVD single and dual outlets install on a standard 35-mm DIN-rail quickly and easily to reduce time and labor required to provide a standard 120 Vac outlet inside electrical control panels. The convenience outlets, which feature IP20 touch protection and LED indicators, simply snap onto the DIN-rail and are fully connected by attaching three wires to the screw terminals. There is no need to build boxes or drill and tap holes on the backplane to mount them inside cabinets.
The outlets are well suited for use with auxiliary equipment such as laptop computers, portable lights and power tools. All models are 100% tested for functionality and feature a rugged housing constructed of flame retardant plastic. Operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +40°C.
